Abilyn’s Frozen Bakery brings a surprising twist to the classic New England ice cream parlor – many of their products take the form of a familiar baked treat, created with ice cream instead of dough. Hand-crafted, Abilyn’s creates deliciously decadent frozen desserts containing no artificial colors, flavors or preservatives.
Ora was tasked with cooking up a new brand that captures the flavor of this unique food company. Our recipe is flavored by the nostalgia many of its customers feel for the hand-crafted, artisan products of the past. The rich color palette and use of subtle striped pattern are a nod to the classic New England ice cream parlor. Sans serif fonts and bright photography add a modern touch. The logo is designed to be modular to adapt to a variety of situations. The ice cream scoop can be swapped out to reflect the flavor of a particular “baked” dessert. Used in series, it also makes a vibrant and tasty impression. A second version of the logo, without the ice cream scoop, is for situations where space is limited or available print quality is low.
