Ampion provides support services to renewable energy companies. When they approached Ora, their business was good but they were having trouble describing their core value. By defaulting to descriptions of their product features, they were inadvertently encouraging customers to cherry-pick services. This diminished the benefits their customers experienced and made it harder for Ampion to sell complete solutions.
Through a series of conversations with Ampions’ leadership team, we uncovered their true value: empowering renewable energy companies to focus on developing new facilities instead of writing lengthy reports to satisfy complex regulatory requirements. In a nutshell, Ampion removes one of the chief pain-points for renewable energy developers. The identity Ora created for them, including a new name and tagline, is squarely focused on this story. It provides a simple narrative that unifies all those product features – and compelling reason to buy a complete solution.
By clarifying their message, Ora was able to establish a guiding principle to unify Ampions’ brand – making it easier for salespeople to communicate and customers to understand.
